PARKLAND, FL- Christmas Eve is now upon us in Parkland. For many Christians around the world, the excitement and anticipation of Christmas Eve almost matches Christmas Day itself. The recognition of Jesus' birth is the largest of global celebrations.

Locally, three churches will have services on Christmas Eve:

  • Coastal Community Church will host a Christmas Eve service followed by a celebration and party at Pine Trails Park. The service will be held in the amphitheater beginning at 5 p.m.
  • Calvary Chapel Parkland will hold its Christmas Eve service, "Imperfect Christmas," at 5 p.m. at Westglades Middle School.
  • Mary Help of Christians will hold Christmas Mass at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in English, 7 p.m. in Spanish, and a 10 p.m. bilingual service.

Mary Help will also be holding Christmas Day Mass at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in English and 12 Noon in Spanish.
