PARKLAND, FL- A number of Parkland neighborhoods had a chance to welcome and see the Easter Bunny on Sunday. Residents in Parkland Golf and Country, Town Parc, Miralago, and Cascata neighborhoods witnessed and cheered as the Easter Bunny cruised by their homes riding in a car.

We Mix it Up is normally a party entertainment service company, but due to the changing conditions due to the Coronavirus, they recreated the local Easter Bunny visit. We Mix it Up toured Town Parc, Miralago and Cascata bringing smiles and excitement to the children waiting for the chance to see the Easter Bunny.

"We wanted to bring some joy and fun to our local community during this difficult time," shared We Mix it Up owner Crystal Moore.

Parkland Gold and Country Club also put on an Easter Bunny tour. Local resident Gillian Roos shared the idea with Parkland Golf and Country management. The managers loved the idea and were off and running.

"We are fortunate to live in a community with many healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential employees," shared Roos. "I thought it would be nice to try and cheer up the community with an Easter Bunny drive-by, so I suggested it to PGCC Sports Clubhouse Manager Allie Callahan. I gave her a few names of character companies and she took the rest from there!"

The Easter Bunny, played by Golf Clubhouse Manager Heinrich Zondagh, kept social distance but toured the entire community. The smiles, waves, and excitement brought a heartwarming lift to the spirit of PGCC.

"It was amazing to see everyone outside lined up in their driveways, smiling and taking socially distanced pictures with the Easter bunny," added Roos. "The feedback from the community was great and I think it gave the kids some needed excitement and the adults a sense of normalcy during these difficult and uncertain times."
