PARKLAND, FL- The Stoneman Douglas soccer teams turned in two dominating performances on Monday, comfortably handling the visiting Golden Tornadoes of Pompano Beach High School.

The girls played first, outscoring Pompano by three goals each half en route to a 6-0 victory. The MSD girls also beat Coral Glades High School 5-0 late last week, and the Eagles are gaining momentum as the season progresses. The MSD Girls Soccer Team is now 5-4-1 overall.

The MSD Boys Soccer Team defeated Pompano 5-1 in the late game on Monday, running their undefeated streak to three after a victory over Coral Glades and a hard-fought tie against Pembroke Pines Charter last week. The boys raise their season record to 4-3-2.

Both teams take on Coral Springs High on Wednesday evening at home. The girls and boys matches begin at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
