PARKLAND, FL- The Parkland Girls 2008 White soccer team won their division of The Commissioner's Cup and will advance to the State Final Four of the Commissioner's Cup in Auburndale, FL in April. The Commissioner's Cup is a state-wide competition for competitive soccer teams to play against each other within their chosen division in attempt win a state title. The Parkland Girls 2008 White team defeated Team Boca 6-1 with Elisabeth Garzon netting a hat trick, Chloe Measel scoring two goals and Emma Rosenstein with one. They also defeated Wellington 1-0 in the group stage with Chloe Measal scoring the winning goal. Parkland topped Coral Springs 1-0 in the final on a goal by Audrey Haltiwanger.  The team was helped by the excellent goaltending of Jordan Tessler, as she allowed just two goals in three games.
