PARKLAND, FL- The Stoneman Douglas Eagles improved their season record Friday night to 4-0, beating Coral Springs in a home conference game by a score of 41-19.

The football team used Friday's night game to start a new Eagle tradition. Fans lit up the stadium by turning on their phone's flashlight from the end of the third quarter to the first play of the fourth to show the team they have the full support of Eagle Nation. The new tradition was so successful they will be taking it on the road next week.

The Stoneman Douglas football team faces rival Taravella in an away conference game on Friday, October 4, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.
