PARKLAND, FL- The Stoneman Douglas varsity girls volleyball team narrowly lost an away conference match to Monarch 3-2 on Wednesday night. Stoneman Douglas easily took the first 2 games by scores of 25-17 and 25-11. Monarch made a comeback to win the last 3 games by scores of 25-23, 25-20 and 15-13. 

Stoneman Douglas drops to 7-4 on the season while Monarch improves their record to 8-7. The Eagles have a home non-conference game against West Broward (Pembroke Pines) today, October 3, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. West Broward has a record of 11-5.
