PARKLAND, FL- The Stoneman Douglas varsity girls volleyball team narrowly lost to Western High School of Davie on Wednesday night. The Wildcats of Western held off the MSD Eagles in four games by scores of 25-21, 26-24, and 25-20 after falling in the first game to Douglas 25-23. 

Samantha Blahut led the Eagles with 22 kills over the 4 games. Stoneman Douglas drops to 7-3 on the season while Western evens their record at 6-6. The Eagles' next game is at American Heritage in Plantation on Tuesday, October 1.
