PARKLAND, FL- The Stoneman Douglas Girls Volleyball Team's season ended Thursday in the district championship game in Boca Raton. Boca Raton's home court advantage and playing for the third consecutive night proved to be too much for the Eagles. Boca Raton took the championship game in a three-set win. Boca won with scores of 25-13, 25-14 and 25-17.

The Eagles placed second in the district and had an overall season record of 9-6. The team will lose six seniors heading into next year.
