PARKLAND, FL- The Westglades Girls Soccer Team's incredible season came to a heartbreaking end on Wednesday evening. The Wolves played Pembroke Pines Charter School in the Broward District Championship at Western High School, and the two teams battled to a 0-0 tie after regulation. District rules don't allow for an overtime session, so the game went straight to penalty kicks, where the Wolves fell 4-2, thus ending their season in gut wrenching fashion. It was the first and only loss of the season for the previously undefeated Westglades team.
