PARKLAND, FL- The Westglades Girls Soccer team are living up to the winning tradition of their successful program, having not lost a regular season game in the past 9 years. Westglades continued the winning streak when they beat Coral Springs Middle School 3-1 on Thursday. Katelyn Campanella, Kourtney Slack and Emily Rodriguez scored for Westglades, improving their regular season record to 5-0 with the win.

The Westglades team has the last 3 games of the regular season next week. They face off against Coral Springs PreK-8 on Monday, Forest Glen on Wednesday and Lyons Creek on Friday. The district semifinal is October 11, 2019 at Pomano Beach High School.

The Westglades Girls Soccer team are coached by Maryanne Sweeny and Kathryn Patterson.  

"Our girls are, as Hamilton says best, 'young, scrappy, and hungry!' There is no doubt that our girls have a winning spirit. Every day they work hard on and off the field to better themselves and the team as a whole. Coach Sweeney and I couldn’t be happier with the effort and love these girls have for the game," said Patterson.
