PARKLAND, FL- The Westglades Girls Volleyball team kept their season alive with another playoff win on Monday evening. The Wolves defeated Deerfield Beach Middle School in the district quarterfinals in just two sets, winning 21-10 and 21-18.

The team now advances to the semifinals and are one of four schools remaining in Broward County. They will face Tequesta Trace (Weston, FL) on Monday, February 10 at 4:00 p.m. at Pompano Beach High School. Tequesta Trace is no stranger to the semifinals. They have been district champs for last two years.

The winner of the Westglades vs Tequesta Trace game will move on to the championship game and face the winner of the Falcon Cove vs Sawgrass Springs game that same night at 6:00 p.m.

Coach Sharon Golzbein is excited with the progress of the team this year. “I’m so proud of all eighteen girls," says Golzbein. "Each one helped get us to the final four in our district.".
