PARSIPPANY, NJ - Training and providing over 3,100 highly skilled electrical workers throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania is a game changer in itself to our local economy.  Layoring community service, volunteerism and generosity on top of that makes IBEW Local 102 one of the most impactful businesses in the state.  Luckily, they are headquarted right here in Parsippany.

Business Manager Patrick Delle Cava sat down with TAPinto to share his thoughts and vision for the future. When asked about being in Parsippany, he had this to say, "I love Parsippany.  This is the perfect location and the perfect mix of business owners to work with".

At the heart of IBEW Local 102 is a 16,000 square foot training center where men and women are trained to be highly skilled electricians.  There is also a 5 year apprenticeship program that begins out of there.  This center produces highly skilled electricians that can be seen on many of the high profile jobs residents drive by everyday. IBEW Local 102 is proud to build partnerships with the area's top companies.  The leadership team is committed to assuring these relationships are posiitive and long lasting as it is their mission to deliver quality, value, and vision to the electrical industry.

An organization doesn't perform at this level of success without great leadership.  Pat Delle Cava has been with IBEW Local 102 for over two decades.  According to him, success comes from the perfect mix of business and policital involvement coupled with community outreach.

Pat works closely with Choose NJ, NJBIA, The Chamber of Commerce as the Association of Corporate Directors to name a few.  Some of the community outreach programs IBEW Local 102 are involved with are Habitat for Humanity, local PAL clubs, Boys and Girls Club of America and Boy Scouts.  One of the most popular company wide charity events is the annual motorcycle ride and cruise.  This year's event's profits will be donated to Veterans and is coming up on July 20th.

Running an organization like IBEW Local 102 runs in Pat's blood.  His grandfather Pasquale ran the Laborers Union back in 1932 out of Patterson, his uncle Tom ran the Plumbers Steamfitters one and his dad, another Pasquale, ran IBEW Local 102, like his son!  In his free time, Pat enjoyes spending time with his wife and sons, playing golf, cooking and going to the gym.
