PARSIPPANY, NJ - Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce was awarded the Alex DeCroce Public Leadership Award which was presented yesterday, October 26th by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of the award, which is presented annually at the Chamber's Economic Outlook Luncheon, is to select an individual who embodies the character and values which Alex DeCroce represented.  These values include care for the community, devotion to making NJ a great place to live, business growth and love of family.

BettyLou DeCroce has served in the NJ General Assembly since 2012, where she represents the 26th Legislative District.  DeCroce serves on four legislative committees, including Commerce & Economic Development, Transportation & Independent Authorities, the Joint Committee on Public Schools and the Intergovernmental Relations Commission.

She has received numerous awards including the Outstanding Legislator of the Year and Defender of the Taxpayer, for her advocacy of common sense measures to reduce taxes and create jobs.
