PARSIPPANY, NJ - An important note to all Parsippany residents. The 2018 Reorganization of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Council will be held Immediately after Inauguration on January 1, 2018 at 12noon. This reorganization meeting is rescheduled from January 2nd.
Governor-elect Phil Murphy will be administering the oath of office to Mayor-elect Michael Soriano and his Democratic running mates Janice McCarthy and Emily Peterson who will alter the balance of the currently all-GOP township council. McCarthy and Peterson defeated Council President Louis Valori and former Councilman Vincent Ferrara, who ran on the Barberio ticket.
An important vote that will take place during the re-organization will be the appointment of a new township attorney.
The Inauguration and Reorganization will be held at the Parsippany Municipal Building at 1001 Parsippany Boulevard at noon.
