MORRISTOWN, NJ - Just because the weather is colder doesn’t mean the fun has to end. Exciting, winter activities such sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing are offered right in your backyard! Make the most of the season, and check out what various facilities and programs the Morris County Park Commission has to offer.

Welcome the snow by sledding down the hills at Tourne County Park in Denville, and cross-country ski through the beautiful trails at Loantaka Brook Reservation in Morris Township or Hedden County Park in Randolph Township. Lace up your skates, and glide across the ice at the flooded, in-line skating rink at Central Park of Morris County in Parsippany.

“There’s nothing more invigorating then sledding down the Doe Meadow hill at Lewis Morris County Park. The snow flies past your face, and your heart races while you speed down one of our largest sledding hills. You have to be a thrill seeker to attempt it from the top!” stated Reynold Fauci, Director of Recreation for the Morris County Park Commission.
