PARSIPPANY, NJ - Of the 1,300,000 individuals deported to Auschwitz, only 200,000 of them miraculously survived. Parsippany's Edward Mosberg was one of them. Mr. Mosberg has been on a crusade to get freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to take a trip to Auschwitz with him so he can show her and teach her about what a real Concentration camp was like in the 1940s. After all, he knows as he was there.
Mr. Mosberg has alot to say about the current state of America and the border crises. He sat down with TAPInto Parsippany to talk about his feelings on these issues.
"My name is Edward Mosberg. I was born in Krakow Poland. Sixty-eight (68) years ago I filed for a visa to come to the United States of America because I wanted to run away from the Communists. Now, I feel, this is not the same United States that I came to. This is a completely different United States. We have a guy by the name of Bernie Sanders who looks to me like he wants to bring the Communists back. We should bring the America, who I love, back the way it was when I came in here 68 years ago."
He has strong feelings about certain members of Congress. "I feel there are people in Congress who are making policy statements for their own benefit. They are trying to take away work from working people. I personally have no objections if they (immigrants) want to come in to the United States but they should come here the way I did. Legally. I filed my application to come to this country because I love this country. They should do the same thing and have patience to wait to get approved. It took me 18 months but that is not a long time if you wait for something good. The new Congresswomen, known as the Squad, are yelling 'Impeachment Impeachment'. They should be held accountable for poisoning the people of the United States."
"I worked very hard to earn my money. I pay my taxes. We should remember how the United States once was and we should try and bring it back to the way it was many years ago. We don't need communisits here. If Bernie Sanders likes Communism and Socialism so much he should look at Russia. He wouldn't even be able to go there anymore as Russia fell apart."
When asked about his feelings regarding our current President, he said "Whether you like it or not, Donald Trump is the greatest President we have ever had. And whether you like it or not, he will be the next president of the United States."
Mr. Mosberg repeatedly said how much he loves America, "And may God Bless America, the country that I love."
