MORRISTOWN, NJ - A dead body that was found in a home located in Parsippany, announced Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker, and Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Chief Andrew Miller.

According to police, on September 9, law enforcement received information that a deceased male was located in the home on Old Bloomfield Avenue in Parsippany. Authorities were able to confirm that a male body was found inside the home.The identity of the man will not be released at this time, they said.

The cause and manner of death are pending. Authorities, including the Parsippany Troy Hills Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office - Crime Scene Investigation Unit and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crime Unit, are investigating.
