PARSIPPANY, NJ – The Parsippany High School football team dropped a 27-13 game to Warren Hills on Friday, Oct. 23. 

The Redhawks were outscored 14-0 in the third quarter after the teams were tied at 13 at halftime. 

Warren Hills quarterback Kevin Farrell threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns. The Blue Streaks were also effective on the ground. Jon Lainez ran for 131 yards on 23 carries.

Warren Hills’ Tucker Gabrich led the receiving unit with six receptions for 117 yards and two TDs. 

Parsippany lost a fumble and threw two interceptions in the game. Redhawk quarterback James Riedinger threw a touchdown and ran for one. He finished with 67 rushing yards on 12 carries. 

Tyler Wang caught a touchdown and had a pair of receptions for 40 yards for Parsippany. Nick Sherry made four catches for 29 yards. 

Riedinger made a team-high 14 tackles, and Sherry totaled 10 tackles. Nick DePietro and Dennis Ribeiro each had a sack for Parsippany, which dropped to 1-3 on the season. 

Parsippany will host Iselin Kennedy on Nov. 2.
