PARSIPPANY, NJ -- The Parsippany High School sports teams are through two weeks of the fall season. Let’s take a look back to see how the Redhawks competed over the week.

Boys Soccer

Parsippany dropped a 6-1 contest at Dover on Sept. 12. Dover scored five second-half goals. The lone goal for the Redhawks came from Angelo Cascio. Goalies Logan Breseman and Chris Leibfred combined for eight saves.

Parsippany (1-2) defeated Mountain Lakes, 5-2, on Sept. 17. Davin Budich and Chris Ferri put in two goals apiece, while Angelo Cascio and Frankie Nicoletti added two assists apiece. Justin Stanton also scored for the Redhawks.

Field Hockey

The Redhawks (2-3) fell to Morristown-Beard and Madison in shutouts over the week.

Girls Tennis

Parsippany fell in a 4-1 match to Pequannock on Sept. 12. Julia Vincent won a 6-1, 6-0 match at second singles. The Redhawks (0-4) dropped a 3-2 match to St. Elizabeth on Sept. 14.

Girls Soccer

Parsippany used a three-goal first-half spurt to get past Boonton, 4-1, on Sept. 12. Olivia Shoshan led the way with two goals and an assist for the Redhawks. Paige Kaiser and Giovanna Stull also found the back of the net and Michele LaCapra contributed two assists. Shoshan and Bethany Brodock also assisted.

The Redhawks had a 2-0 shutout of Dover on Sept. 14. Shoshan and Sydney Reich scored goals, Stull had an assist and goalie Jenna Devens made 13 saves.

The team (3-1) won its third straight following a 1-0 shutout of Whippany Park on Sept. 17. Stull scored on an assist from Kaiser and Devens made 19 saves in the shutout victory.

Girls Volleyball

Coming off a season-opening victory over Morristown-Beard, Parsippany defeated Morris Tech, 25-19, 25-16, on Sept. 12. Juliana Smith had 10 digs while Meghan Byrne added six, and Jazmin Lee had 11 assists.

The Redhawks improved to 3-0 on the season with a 25-13, 25-12 victory over St. Elizabeth on Sept. 14.
