PARSIPPANY, NJ – The Parsippany Hills High School football team lost to undefeated West Essex, 35-7, on Friday, Nov. 20.
The Vikings, now 5-3 on the year, have dropped two in a row. Parsippany Hills quarterback Chris Evans went 16 of 27 with a touchdown and two interceptions. He connected with Jacob Smith on a 1-yard score in the third quarter.
Dominick Verducci had a productive game for Par Hills with 107 yards rushing on 25 carries.
Ty Sallie made four catches for 45 yards, while Smith made five receptions. Defensively, Jordan Thompson forced and recovered a fumble to add to his six tackles. Chris Dogbe and Jack Bellardino finished with seven tackles apiece.
For West Essex, Chris Bell and Giancarlo Farro combined for 305 yards rushing and five scores. Both playmakers had 14 carries.
Chris Corbo and Mike Girardi had the West Essex interceptions.
Parsippany Hills will close out the 2020 season on Thanksgiving morning, when it takes on Morris Hills.
