PARSIPPANY, NJ - The Parsippany High School football team is officially in the win column.

Following a 7-0 loss to Kinnelon in the season opener, the Redhawks bounced back with a 42-6 blowout road victory over Hopatcong this past Friday night. 

Parsippany built a 14-0 lead after one quarter. That lead extended to 29 heading into the break after a 21-6 second quarter for the Redhawks.

For Parsippany, Nana Agyemang was extremely efficient. He scored on runs of 4 yards and 15 yards and he also had a 55-yard touchdown reception from James Riedinger. 

Anthony Colasuonno had a 5-yard and an 8-yard TD run. Rounding out the Parsippany scoring was Aiden Figueroa, who found the end zone from 81 yards out. 

Hopatcong’s Michael Mastroeni had a 90-yard kickoff return for a TD.

Parsippany returns to action with a home game against Passaic Valley on Sept. 20.
