Gov Murphy is the central figure in a new campaign commercial for "New Direction New Jersey" where his tagline is "building forward."  The problem for Gov Murphy is that his idea of "building forward" isn't built on facts. Specifically, Gov Murphy likes to proclaim his tax policies as making "New Jersey fairer." And he likes to ...

As a former mayor, past League President for 4 years, and 25+-year member of LWVML I can say confidently – they have made the right call and we should all ...

Parsippany Should Have Had a 9/11 Ceremony

Murphy's hand puppet, Parsippany mayor, has stepped

in it again.  Just about every town in New Jersey has a

memorial service for 9/11, not Parsippany.  The mayor

dis-respected the folks whose names appear on the memorial

plaque at the entrance to town hall. It's just another nail in

his political coffin.  As the doctor told his terminal ...

September 14, 2020

(Parsippany, NJ ) Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce ramps up her push for early in-person voting and the restoration of voting on a machine in-lieu of Governor Murphy’s questionable all vote-by-mail plan.

“There is no reason why New Jersey voters should be denied the option to vote in-person,” said DeCroce (R-Morris). “I have introduced a viable option to institute early ...

New Jersey Date Night: Butter Them Up with Lobster

September 27, 2020

New Jersey Date Night is a series on NJ Flavor by relationship writer Craig Rogers.

We’re trading our flip flops for boots and our shorts for sweatshirts. Picnic dates on the shore might be coming to an end but one seaside dish that never goes out of season is lobster.

Baked, broiled or served chilled, the ever-popular crustacean makes for a great meal on your ...
