Parsippany Resident Wins Third Place In Friendly Competition, Replaces Solo Car Trips with Biking, Walking or Carpooling

CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ - Residents across New Jersey were invited to participate in a friendly three week competition where they replaced solo car trips with biking, walking or carpooling. The competition titled TripSwitch 2018, was hosted by TransOptions and showed competitors traveling 5,841 miles with 217 carpooling trips, 189 walking trips, and 335 biking trips.

Reminder: Commemorative Ceremony Honoring Robert Perkins This Saturday

PARSIPPANY, NJ - On Saturday, October 27th Robert L. Perkins, Jr, the Founding Trustee and President of Wildlife Preserves, Inc. is being commemorated in a ceremony at Troy Meadows preserve.  

Mr. Perkins acquired the land in the Central Passaic Basin and is credited for saving Troy Meadows.  He was a large contributor to land and wildlife preservation.
