Gas Prices in New Jersey Drop Slightly Heading into Holiday Weekend

NEW JERSEY — The price of gas in New Jersey is heading down as the Fourth of July weekend gets closer.

The average price of a gallon of unleaded is $4.85, according to AAA. That's down 2 cents from yesterday and 9 cents from last week. Drivers are paying $1.71 more than this time last year.

Parsippany to Host 4th of July Fireworks

PARSIPPANY, NJ, - The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills will once again host a 4th of July Concert and Fireworks on July 4th.

The event will be at Parsippany Hills High School and will begin with a concert presenting live musc by Overboard at 7:30pm.

The fireworks are scheduled to start at approximately 9:30pm.

Rain date will be July 5, 2022.
