TRENTON, NJ – Day care centers for the children of essential workers have been opened throughout the COVID-19 crisis. As Governor Phil Murphy announced yesterday, they reopen to other parents on June 15.  Within the next few weeks, non-contact sports activities and youth day camps also may open up. Native Plant Sale for Lake Foundation Goes Online

ROXBURY, NJ –The Lake Hopatcong Foundation (LHF) this year is using an online system to take orders for its annual native plant sale, but customers will still be able to pick up their purchases in person.

The non-profit organization, based in Landing, is offering more than 40 types of plants, all native to New Jersey. The sale runs until 6 p.m. May 21.

Route 10 Westbound Ramp to I-287 Northbound, Closed this Weekend

HANOVER, NJ - The ramp from Route 10 westbound to I-287 northbound and one lane in each direction on Route 10, will be closed this weekend, announced the New Jersey Department of Transportation. 

The project began Friday evening and will continue until 7am on Monday, May 11, said the NJDOT.

David Dodd of Lake Hiawatha Gets a Parade for his 82nd Birthday!

PARSIPPANY, NJ - Longtime Lake Hiawatha resident, David Dodd, was celebrated on Sunday with a birthday parade for his 82nd birthday.

The parade was organized by Bikers against Bullies and included a long stream of cars and motorcycle riders.  Mr. Dodd's birthday was on April 28th and the parade took place on May 3rd.

Traffic Advisory: Ramp and Lane Closures this Weekend on Route 10 West in Hanover

HANOVER, NJ - There is a traffic advisory in effect for this weekend - April 24th through April 27th - for the westbound ramp to Rt. 287 coming from Route 10.  There will also be one lane closed on Route 10 westbound in Hanover. This is part of a roadway improvement project authorized by the state of New Jersey.
