PARSIPPANY – The Parsippany Hills High School football team got past West Essex, 35-7, on Saturday afternoon. 

The win was the fifth in a row for the Vikings, now 6-2 on the season. The victory over West Essex was the first in the head-to-head series since 2016. 

Par Hills quarterback JD Breslauer finished 20-of-30 for 361 yards and five touchdowns. Dominick Verducci ran for 56 yards on 15 carries and Dennis Wilson, EJ Comerford and Jordan Thompson all had strong days receiving.

Wilson made five receptions for 123 yards and two scores, Comerford caught six balls for 113 yards and a TD and Thompson made four catches for 88 yards and two TDs. The Vikings led 21-0 after one quarter. 

Thompson and Comerford each had a sack, David Giraldo had nine tackles and Wilson had an interception. 

Parsippany Hills closes out the regular season with a game at Orange on Nov. 1.
