MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Parsippany Regional High School ice hockey team took on West Orange on Tuesday night at Mennen Sports Arena. 

In the second meeting between the teams – with Parsippany Regional winning the first 3-1 on Dec. 27 – Parsippany Regional looked for its second straight win, while West Orange looked to snap a three-game losing streak.  

Parsippany Regional was able to build a winning streak behind a 2-0 victory over West Orange.

Both goals came in the third period. While West Orange had two more shots on goal (22-20), Parsippany Regional was able to get the goals to improve to 3-10. 

Jake Weiss gave the team a 1-0 advantage, and then Anthony Santangelo put in a goal on an assist from David Zilinskis. Goalie Justin Wellman made 20 saves for Par Regional. 

Par Regional will take on Lenape Valley-Newton on Jan. 16. Lenape Valley-Newton won a 4-3 game between the teams back on Dec. 7.
