Potter was brought in to foster care from one of our feeding colonies. She kept calling out to the caretaker trying to get some attention until finally it worked. Once the little girl was brought inside, she became quite the purring machine. Potter was a little shy at first but warmed up pretty quickly to her foster roommate. She loves to be held and to sit on a lap. We expect she will be a little shy at first in her new home as well, but given time she is a sweetheart. Potter really follows the lead of another kitty and would definitely do best with a buddy. If you are looking for someone who needs a little extra attention and love, Potter is your girl. Potter is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Sprout came in to our care with her four siblings. She is a light orange tabby with more of a speckled coat than the typical tiger stripes. Sprout is first to come to the food dish and will sing for her supper. She can be somewhat of a whiner at feeding time and will let you know that you are just taking too long. Sprout came in as the smallest of the litter and quickly caught up to the rest. She’ll squirm when you pick her up as if you are keeping her from doing something much more important. Being part of a big family, this little sweetheart would love the company of another kitty in her forever home. Sprout is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting Potter, complete the pre-adoption application at www.startpets.net or call Lauren at Save The Animals Rescue Team (S.T.A.R.T.) at 973-785-1245.
