Adopt A Pet

Lola is about 18 weeks old and vaccinated and microchipped. She is a sweet puppy learning her manners, learning her housebreaking and having a blast with the other dogs in the house to play with. We are not sure what Lola is because she was by herself with no parents. We are thinking maybe greyhound and whippet but could be a lab mix too. What we know is she is sweet and beautiful and looking for love. Applications can be found at
Gorgeous Beignet was found as a stray in Newark trying to keep her babies safe and warm during one of our winter storms. Someone found her cuddled up with her babies on their porch and called for help. So FOWA welcomed Beignet and her tiny babies - Boombo, Bumble and Bee to our foster program. They were born on March 13 and will be ready for adoption soon. Mommy is just an amazing, sweet and gentle cat. She will also be looking for a forever home where she could be loved and spoiled. If interested fill out an application at and call us at 973-902-7515.
FOWA Rescue can be reached at or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia. See for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
If you are searching for a dog that can keep up with your active lifestyle, then Taz is the one. He is a 3 year-old Pointer/Labrador mix rescued from the South who is sweet, friendly, playful and gets along well with other dogs. Our sweet and playful bonded pair, Max and Lily, are 1 1/2-year old Yorkshire Terrier mixes weighing in at 8-10 pounds each. After being surrendered, their one constant in life is each other which makes them truly inseparable and they must be adopted together. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco on Route 46 West in Totowa from 4to 6:30 p.m.
If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit
