Adopt A Pet

As her name implies, Princess, is a bit of a Diva but her overwhelming cuteness makes up for it. This 5-month old Hound/Terrier mix is ready to begin her happily ever tale. Chavela came to us as a single pup so we are guessing at her lineage. This 4-month old Spaniel/Chihuahua mix is sure to melt your heart. She is sweet, lovable and very playful as well. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, 1 Route 46 West in Totowa, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit

Bear Claw was found all alone in a colony when FOWA was called to help. We put him with Cinnamon and her babies since they were close in age and she started caring for him immediately. So he is happy and healthy and playing with his new found family. He is just gorgeous, thick black fur and a little rolly polly.
Meet Rhett! Rhett was surrendered to FOWA along with his brother Carter. He's about 3 months old and just starting to learn what life is all about. He loves to play with his toys and cuddle in your lap when he gets tired. He's a very curious puppy and will follow you around wherever you go. Rhett is currently being fostered with his brother in a home with two large adult dogs. Although puppies can be a lot of work, bringing new life and energy into your home brings unconditional love and to rescue a life is priceless.
FOWA Rescue can be reached at or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia.  See for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
