This Mastiff was rescued from a family that neglected and ignored him. Despite everything that Big Guy has been through, he has an amazing amount of love to give. Now on the other hand, Manchi is a compact Jack Russell/Spaniel mix weighing in at 15 pounds. This 2 year-old female is well-mannered, sweet and playful. The perfect package and her markings remind us of a lemur. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, 1 Route 46 west in Totowa, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit www.afan.petfinder.com

Hamlet was found as a stray. He was lucky enough to find a home that saw how friendly he was and began caring for him. Wanting to make sure he was properly vetted, they reached out to FOWA for help. After a trip to the vet, it was discovered that he was declawed. The family and FOWA agreed it would be best for Hamlet to be inside, so now he's looking for a loving home for himself.

Willow is about 3-4 years young and weighs around 12 pounds. Willow came from a house with way too many dogs and as far as we can tell has had puppies a few times. She has settled into life with FOWA Rescue and her foster home. Because of her past we are looking for an adult only home. She seems much more afraid of men, so a patient loving home would help her thrive. Although she lives with other dogs in the house she really hasn't connected with them so if you are looking for a dog to run and play with yours Willow isn't the one. Willow would love a lap to hang out on. She adores cuddling with her foster mom and sleeps in bed with everyone at night and is crated when no one is home. Willow continues to do well in her foster home and each day we see improvements and her true personality continues to surface.

FOWA Rescue can be reached at fowarescue@yahoo.com or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia. See www.fowarescue.com for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
