Adopt A Pet

Stella's panic-stricken mother alerted rescuers to her location - trapped in the rubble of a building that was being demolished. Although she lost her front leg from the ordeal, this 5 month-old Shepherd mix has a terrific spirit. What an adorable pup! Barney's story is not as harrowing but he did lose his family due to a housing crisis. This 5 1/2 year-old Labrador Retriever mix loves children and other dogs. An all-around good guy. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, #1 Route 46 West in Totowa, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit www.afan.petfinder.com

Annie is a sweet and sociable and absolutely beautiful 12-week old pointer/hound mix ready to meet her forever family. This little girl is already spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Annie loves children and other dogs. She loves to snuggle, but she is also active, curious and smart and is going to be a great dog for an active family. Annie will steal your heart and then your bed!

Sisters Bellamy, Banjo, Bowtie, Bethanee, Burrito, Bambi and their lone brother Batty were found in Wayne along with their friendly mother Bellamy - no place for them to be able to live a happy life. Banjo has a cute little white chin. We estimate the kittens were born June 5 and are now waiting for homes of their own, their mother Bellamy will be spayed and returned to her caretaker. Bellamy tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All the kittens have been dewormed and had age appropriate vaccinations.

FOWA Rescue can be reached at fowarescue@yahoo.com or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia. See www.fowarescue.com for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
