Both of these sweet ladies were rescued from Puerto Rico after having lived through the horrible conditions following Hurricane Maria that devastated the island. Blondie is a 4 to 6 year-old wirehaired terrier mix who is housebroken and extremely gentle and well-mannered. Young Bella is a 5 month-old terrier mix who is fun-loving and ready to play. Either would settle in with a family quite nicely. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, 1 Route 46 west in Totowa, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit www.afan.petfinder.com.
Izzy was found while doing TNR (trap/neuter/return) to help stop the birth of unwanted litters of kittens in an area where there was a colony of stray cats. This cute little gray and white female was born around Oct. 13 and is now enjoying life out of the cold and surrounded by toys.
