Adopt A Pet

Both of these sweet ladies were rescued from Puerto Rico after having lived through the horrible conditions following Hurricane Maria that devastated the island. Blondie is a 4 to 6 year-old wirehaired terrier mix who is housebroken and extremely gentle and well-mannered. Young Bella is a 5 month-old terrier mix who is fun-loving and ready to play. Either would settle in with a family quite nicely. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, 1 Route 46 west in Totowa, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit

Izzy was found while doing TNR (trap/neuter/return) to help stop the birth of unwanted litters of kittens in an area where there was a colony of stray cats. This cute little gray and white female was born around Oct. 13 and is now enjoying life out of the cold and surrounded by toys.

Emma Lou is as sweet as sugar. She is a little shy at first but than fits in and is all about the loving. Emma Lou is looking for a family to love. She wants someone who likes to take walks but also likes to watch a good movie on a chilly night. If you think Emma Lou can be part of your life than hurry up and fill out an application. Applications can be found at
