Adopt A Pet

Bella is a beautiful black and white female born in 2016. After living in a home for a year, her owners moved out and left her behind. She was left to learn the ways of an outside cat. Bella desperately tried to get inside. She is very sweet, loves attention, and enjoys playing. We are unsure how she will be with other animals but she does not seem to mind the other cats and dogs that are around on adoption days.  Bella is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If interested in meeting Bella, complete the pre-adoption application at or call Annette at S.T.A.R.T. at 973-785-1245.

In French, “bijou” means jewel, and with features half-amber, half-ebony, this mademoiselle is a unique gem indeed! As sweet as she is striking, 8-year-old Bijou loves to play and explore, and is curious about absolutely everything. Whether it’s sniffing at whatever comes into her foster home or sitting at the window to watch the birds fly by and the squirrels climb trees. Surrendered after her owner’ death, bouncy Bijou loves running around the house and chilling with the other furry, four-footed members of the household. Although not really a “lap” cat, she does cozy up to her foster mom on the couch when she needs some loving and enjoys lying next to her in bed at night. Bijou is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If  interested in meeting Bijou, complete the pre-adoption application at or call Marianne at S.T.A.R.T. at 973-785-1245.

KC has been here so long - she breaks our hearts. She is so shy that she never really grabs anyone's attention during adoptions. All she really needs is someone with the love an patience to let her show you what a sweet girl she really is!
