Meet Kora, a stunning, one and a half year-old, apricot/beige brindle Pit Bull Terrier mix. She is a playful, sweet young lady. Blackjack, a 7 month-old Retriever mix, was rescued from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria along with his mother and siblings. He is a well-mannered and gentle young man. Both are eager to start the next chapter of their lives with a family to call their own. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, 1 Route 46 west in Totowa, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit www.afan.petfinder.com

Uma is an awesome white and gray female. She is extremely sweet and very playful. She loves people and other cats and is just an amazing girl.

Who loves to play and play? Come play with our girl Hunnie. About 9 months to 1 year old, she's bundle of fun. Hunnie would love an active home who would go on long walks and play fetch. We think she would totally love being an agility dog. She also loves lots of toys and will entertain herself with toys and bones for short periods. She is crate trained but really wants to be where the action is. Hunnie gets along with the foster dog in the house and would do best with a dog that has her activity level. She is also super smart is learning basic commands and doing great on her house breaking. Hunnie also loves to cuddle and will curl up with her foster mom for a little late night TV before calling it a night.

FOWA Rescue can be reached at fowarescue@yahoo.com or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia.  See www.fowarescue.com for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
