Hard to imagine because of their size difference but these two are both cuddle bugs. Due to a change in circumstance, 5-year-old Bean, a Pit Bull Terrier, lost his home. This big lug gets along well with cats, dogs and children. If you are lucky enough to share his bed, he might steal the pillow. He is a love who is happiest being spoiled by his human companions. Petite Blanqui is a 2-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix or Chiweenie for short. She loves to be near her people. Check our Petfinder page to see more adoptables. Meet some of them on Saturdays at the Petco, 1 Rt. 46 west in Totowa, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit www.afan.petfinder.com

Aslan was rescued while FOWA Rescue was doing trap/neuter/return. He was just a little ball of orange. He was born approximately March 30 and has become such a playful, loving kitten who now is ready for a home of his own. He has tested negative for FIV/FelV and had all his vaccinations. He just now wants to be a loving companion.

Bonita, with her sleek black fur and brindle coloring, is your girl if you want a beautiful snuggler keeping you company. She’s about 4 years old and 7 pounds, has all inoculations, is spayed and microchipped. She loves playing with other doggie friends but throws her soft toys around on her own if alone. Warm weather exercise running outside in the sun is turning into a favorite past time. She’s learning to enjoy alone time but would prefer company. House-trained to outside and wee-wee pads.

FOWA Rescue can be reached at fowarescue@yahoo.com or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia.  See www.fowarescue.com for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
