Here are TAPinto Passaic Valley's pets of the week!
You would never know it from her wonderful demeanor but 3 year-old German Shepherd mix, Sandy, was found on the streets of Egypt, starving and full of stress-related mange after being used to breed. She is simply amazing, so sweet, lovable and playful as a puppy. Meeting her brings a smile to everyone's face.
Oreo, a 2 year-old Shih Tzu/Terrier mix, also has a big personality. This guy loves other dogs and also likes to be the center of attention. Meet some of Angels for Animals adoptables on Saturdays at the Petco on Route 46 west in Totowa from 3:30 to to 6:30 p.m. If interested in adopting from Angels for Animals Network, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, or meeting a particular animal, call or text Gizela at 201-655-5059 or visit www.afan.petfinder.com.
Cherry is one of our shelter mamas, and not only is she one of the prettiest kitties ever. She's super sweet to boot! This outgoing little lady would be a perfect new friend!
Miles is a sweet boy who loves to play with squeaky toys and chase laser light cat toys. He has lived with both dogs and cats, both of which he gets along with well. Miles loves meeting new people and going for hikes!
