Emma Lou is as sweet as sugar. She is a little shy at first but than fits in and is all about the loving. Emma Lou has been great at adoption events looking for attention from everyone and so far has been gentle with everyone she meets. Emma Lou is looking for a family to love. She wants someone who likes to take walks but also likes to watch a good movie on a chilly night.
People take drastic measures to get rid of unwanted cats when the problem of unspayed/unneutered cats gets to the point of being overridden with cats/kittens in a neighborhood. Such is the case in one neighborhood where someone decided poison was the best answer to what he perceived as a problem. Fortunately for one mom and her kittens, they were rescued and brought to FOWA. All the kittens are polydactyl and Viollette and her brothers Viggo, Vail, and Vito are now enjoying the safety of a foster home, along with a steady supply of food and toys. They were born April 4 and have now had their age-appropriate vaccinations and are spayed or neutered.
FOWA Rescue can be reached at or 973-902-7515. All animals are up to date with shots and altered, and cats are tested FIV and leukemia.  See for information on all the dogs and cats in FOWA’s care.
