LITTLE FALLS, NJ - Passaic Valley/Cedar Grove lost to Brick 6-4 at Floyd Hall in Little Falls on Saturday.

The Hornets struck first with a goal by Alex LoPresti assisted by Jack Propero and Dan Lapinski on a power play early in the first period.  Brick answered with two goals in the first.

LoPresti found the back of the net again early in the second period with the help of Stefan Schimpf and Joe Kubu scored on a power play to make it a tie game.  Brick Memorial added three  more goals in the second period to take the lead at the end of the second.

 Third period saw goals added by LoPresti with an assists from Lapinski, and Jack Prospero, but it was not enough to stop Brick Memorial, who tacked another goal on to bring the score to 6-4.  Hornets goalies Nicolas DiNardo and Noah Vazquez had 10 saves each. The Hornets take on Verona/Glen Ridge on Friday night at Floyd Hall Arena at 7:45 pm.
