Clothing Drive To Benefit Woodland Park Elementary School

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Clean out your closets and help the Charles Olbon Elementary School Home & School Association's second grade committee at its fall clothing drive fundraiser. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, drop off your bagged, unwanted items outside the school, located at 50 Lincoln Lane, Woodland Park, where a tent will be set up.

Accepted items: new or gently used men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes, purses, belts, bed and bath linens and stuffed animals. Bicycles and baby strollers are also accepted.

No pillows, books, toys, furniture, appliances or household items are accepted. The group will receive a donation based on the weight of the collection.

DeCroce’s Bill Consolidating Suicide Prevention Programs Into One Office at Health Department Clears Committee

TRENTON, N.J. – Legislation sponsored by Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce consolidating the state’s two suicide prevention programs into one office won committee approval. The bill (A3645) creates a suicide prevention council in the Health Department. It passed the Assembly Human Services Committee 6-0.
