As parents and directors/co-owners of their centers, Zobeida and Germanico’s primary concern is safety for children.

“As a father, my primary concern is safety for the children," Germanico said, "so with that in mind, 13 years ago my wife and I created a learning center that provides a safe environment for children to creatively learn and prepares them for kindergarten as they begin their educational journey.”

The mission of Bright Beginners is to create an inclusive pre-school and child care center dedicated to supporting children to reach his or her full potential and prepare them for their first year in school.

According to the National Institute for Early Education Research, parents focus on helping their young children practice and master cognitive skills, but most teachers recognize that developing emotional and social skills in preparation for kindergarten is just as important. The Bright Beginners’ curriculum balances learning through play, nurturing each child’s uniqueness and strong academics that encourages intellectual, social and emotional growth. Bright Beginners Academy utilizes encouragement rather than competition, comparison and criticism.
