English as a Second Language Club Launches as Woodland Park Library

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library, 7 Brophy Lane, has launched a "English as a Second Language Conversation Club."

Is English your second language? This new free club is a fun and relaxed place for adults to practice English speaking skills, learn about American and other cultures, get to know the community, and meet other people from other cultures and the community.

The club will meet on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. and every fourth Saturday at 11 a.m.

Does your family have a new dog or puppy that needs to get trained? You do not have to spend a fortune training Fido. Come to Passaic County's free dog training sessions in Goffle Brook Park in Hawthorne. Classes are held every Monday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. through June, July, and August.
