NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - George Juzdan and Christa Limone have franchised TAPinto Passaic Valley, providing original local news coverage for the residents of Little Falls, Totowa and Woodland Park. They are joined in the venture by Tom Roskop.

George Juzdan was born and raised in Wooodland Park, graduating from Passaic Valley High School in 2009. He graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in accounting. George said, "As owner of TAPinto Passaic Valley, I want to ensure that local news is alive and well, attracting sponsors and advertisers so it is sustainable long-term. We are one of the only local news sources in the Passaic Valley area and we are excited to see the early support from businesses, residents, government officials, and nonprofits we have already received."

Christa Limone was born and raised in Little Falls, having graduated from Passaic Valley High School in 1991. She earned English writing and music management degrees from William Paterson University. After graduating, Christa was a staff writer with Today Newspapers, which at the time published three zones, including Wayne and Passaic Valley. After serving as a school beat reporter for three years, she was promoted to editor, a position Christa held for 16 years. While she has won many writing and layout awards over the years from the New Jersey Press Association, she is most proud of the difference that the newspaper's work has made in its communities. In addition to delivering fair and balanced news coverage, Christa always strived to ensure that the countless non-profit groups that work throughout the area could always rely on the paper to promote their news and events.

A resident of Woodland Park since 2003, Christa and her husband Jerry have two children and she enjoys volunteering with the Municipal Alliance Against Drugs & Alcohol Abuse, the Home & School Associations of her children's schools and local animal rescue groups. She is currently employed as Public Information Officer for the Borough of Woodland Park and the Woodland Park School District.

As a longtime member of the Passaic Valley community, Tom Roskop of Totowa attended Passaic Valley High School and is active in multiple civic organizations within the three towns. An advocate for small businesses and community organizations, Tom is committed to fostering local successes that fuel and support our neighbors. As an engineering consultant, Tom has spent the past 15 years working with local and Fortune companies in areas such as forensics and medical device R&D. Along the way, the passion for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and education paved the way to his current role as a professor of engineering at a local college. Between lectures and clients, he makes time to meet with community members to find out where best to focus efforts in improving our neighborhoods.

"Collectively we are capable of so much and, through focused effort and collaboration, Passaic Valley can continue to be a great place to live. An important aspect in achieving that goal is to stay informed. I firmly believe TAPinto provides the right outlet for neighbors to stay up to date, local business to connect, and our communities to collaborate as we grow. Our platform, traffic, and offerings is what our entire community needs," said Roskop.
