BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The 2017 Essex County Free Music Concert Series continues Friday, July 28 with Gloria's Miami Sound featuring Nikki Torres at 7:30 p.m. in Brookdale Park.

“Our free concert series offers a diverse lineup of performers who will take center stage in venues throughout our historic Essex County Park System. Pack a blanket, enjoy the cool evening breeze and dance to the sounds of classical, rock and roll, jazz, big band, Latin and more,” Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo said.

This Gloria and Emilio Estefan Tribute band is led by vocalist Nikki Torres, accompanied by her 16-piece band which includes her husband Bill. Torres brings excitement and enthusiasm to Gloria Estefan’s extensive discography. With her beaming voice, Nikki Torres has earned background vocalist positions performing with artists from around the world. This group of talented musicians breathes life into the classic hits from one of the most famous husband and wife duos of all time.

Street Hockey Program Open To Children from Passaic Valley area, Cedar Grove

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - The WP Boys & Girls Club is planning registration dates for its summer street hockey program. The program is offered to all residents of Woodland Park, Cedar Grove, Totowa and Little Falls, who are currently in kindergarten to eight grade.
