'Hidden in Plain Sight' Gives In-depth Look Into Drug, Alcohol Trends

'Hidden in Plain Sight' provides an opportunity to explore a teen’s bedroom to see and identify drug paraphernalia, hiding places and other signs that may indicate teen usage.

LITTLE FALLS/WOODLAND PARK, NJ - "Hidden in Plain Sight" will be presented Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Passaic Valley High School, 100 E. Main St., Little Falls. All parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers and other adults are encouraged to attend.

This exhibit and presentation in collaboration with Prevention Links, the Woodland Park Municipal Alliance and UP in PC is centered around a teenager’s bedroom that is displayed to allow attendees an opportunity to explore a teen’s bedroom to see and identify drug paraphernalia, hiding places and other signs that may indicate teen usage.

Prevention specialists and other professionals will guide attendees through the exhibit to explain various substance use trends, signs, symptoms and lingo in an effort to raise awareness about substance use and provide resources to help keep youth healthy and drug free.
