LITTLE FALLS, NJ - Matt McDermott, a lifetime Little Falls resident and Senior at St. Peter's Prep High School in Jersey City, is playing for something much bigger this year than ever before.

More important than working toward winning and getting recruited, McDermott will be playing for the heroes that protect our freedom every day. By teaming up wth Operation Homefront, Matt hopes to raise significant funds for military families in need.

Supporters can make a flat donation, or in an attempt to raise even more funds, McDermott is seeking support in a pledge per hit scenario for the upcoming baseball season. Donors are encouraged to pledge a dollar amount for each hit McDermott is able to rack up this upcoming season. He will keep all donors updated of his progress throughout the season via email and final donations will be made in mid June via Operation Homefront's website.
