WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Hurricane BTW will open its first location in New Jersey in the borough at 1530 Route 46 west, next to Fairway, later this year.

A fast casual restaurant, Hurricane BTW (burgers, tacos and wings) is an offshoot of Hurricane Grill & Wings. The Woodland Park eatery will be the second in the nation with Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. being the first.

The Woodland Park Borough Council last night approves its plenary retail distribution license which will permit the eatery to serve alcohol. Owners said that they are scheduled to open before the holiday season.

Area developer for Hurricane BTW, Yogesh Dave told NJ Biz that the new restaurant will springboard the expansion into the New York Metro market.

The 3,000 square foot eatery will feature burgers, tacos, chicken wings, chicken tenders, salads, fries, shakes, craft beer and wine, as well as large array of its signature sauces. The restaurant's decor will be a laid back and tropical, surfer vibe.

Hurricane Grill & Wings first opened in April 1995 in Ft. Pierce, Fla., and has expanded to 80 locations in 15 states, all boasting its award winning wings that have become the signature of the menu.
