MORRISTOWN, NJ - First it was the Morristown Pancake House, then it was Nunzios Dolce Vita and La Campagna and now it's Market Taverne.
In a Facebook post, Chef Rich from Market Taverne announced that the restaurant served it's last dinner on Saturday night.
"Thank you one and all for supporting us", said chef. "We are indeed closing tonight, 2019 was the best of the four years we've been in business but COVID-19 was a bridge too far. Stay safe. Say healthy. Eat local. Wear a mask. Bon appetite", he wrote.
Some were in disbelief and commented "omg what?" Others offered prayers.
Many praised their food saying it was "delicious", "go-to-place for lunch", and "amazing food".
