LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Office of Little Falls Mayor James Damiano has provided construction updates for the week of Sept. 30 through Oct. 4, 2019:
- Water Main Upgrade project- The water company's contractor will continue to connect service relays between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Monday and Tuesday: Work will be performed on East Main Street between Browertown Road and Randolph Place.
- Wednesday through Friday: Work will be performed on Main Street and East Main Street between Lincoln Avenue and Van Ness Avenue. Please plan accordingly as Main Street will be closed in these areas during the work.
- Electric upgrade project – PSE&G’s contractor will continue the electrical upgrade connecting the Totowa substation to the Cedar Grove substation this week, and their anticipated schedule for the week (which is subject to change and is weather dependent) is as follows:
Monday to Friday: Work will continue on Paterson Avenue Monday through Friday, however the roadway will be open in both directions. Work will also continue on Maple Street Monday through Wednesday, which will be closed. There will also be some work this week performed on Thursday and Friday on Main Street, and traffic will remain open in both directions.
