Missing Elderly Woodland Park Woman Found

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - An elderly Woodland Park woman who disappeared from the Terrace Avenue section of the borough earlier today has been found.

According to Woodland Park Police Department Detective Lt. John Uzzalino, the missing resident who goes by the name "Giuseppin" was located and returned safely to her residence. Emergency notification calls were sent out to residents earlier today while police were searching for her. A post by the department on Facebook was shared over 600 times during the course of the day.

"She was found walking on Route 80 at exit 57 at around 4:15 p.m. this afternoon," said Uzzalino.

The Woodland Park Police Department expressed appreciation for phone calls and tips sent throughout the day, surrounding agencies for assisting the Passaic County Sheriff's Department, NJ State Police and Paterson Police Department.
