Monkey Monkey Music Returns To Woodland Park


WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Monkey Monkey Music, whose videos air daily on PBS, will return to Dowling Gardens in Woodland Park for a free kids concert, open to all.

The Alfred Baumann Public Library sponsored show will be held Wednesday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. Dowling Gardens is located on McBride Avenue at Dowling Parkway. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, and bug spray, but be prepared to dance.

Founded by lead singer Meredith LaVande, Monkey Monkey Music, and her videos are broadcast multiple times each day, framing such iconic shows as Sesame Street and Curious George, on more than 100 public television stations in 70 plus markets.

Last summer, over 100 kids enjoyed the band's first visit to town and danced the night away to the trio's upbeat songs.

Does your family have a new dog or puppy that needs to get trained? You do not have to spend a fortune training Fido. Come to Passaic County's free dog training sessions in Goffle Brook Park in Hawthorne. Classes are held every Monday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. through June, July, and August.
